📏 Land survey & boundary fixing

Most land disputes in villages begin with an unclear boundary. Before you buy, sell or fence a property we arrange a licensed surveyor to measure the land against the FMB sketch and fix stones at the correct corners.

What is included

  • Boundary survey & stone fixing with licensed surveyor (DGPS / total station on request)
  • Sub-division survey for selling part of a survey number
  • FMB sketch, A-register, village map copies from the taluk office
  • Layout plan preparation for DTCP / panchayat approval
  • Government survey application (patta sub-division) follow-up

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to bring for a boundary survey?

Patta / chitta, the FMB sketch (we can obtain it), and the previous sale deed. Neighbouring owners are informed so boundaries are fixed without dispute.

Private surveyor or government survey – which do I need?

A licensed private surveyor is enough for buying, fencing and selling. For a patta sub-division the government survey (through the taluk office) is required – we help with that application.

How long does a survey take?

A boundary survey of a few acres is usually completed in one visit; sub-division and layout plans take a few days to draw and file.
